I'm not sure. I'm preparing the house for sale, and interviewed with a firm in Strasbourg in November, but that didn't work out, though this didn't stop my wife from finding a school and hockey club for my kids.

OTOH, the publishing company of the big university in the town I'm in has been talking to me about taking over as assistant director and CFO, and that could be interesting if it can be worked out (it's a faculty position, technically speaking, so it's apparently not a simple hire). It's about the only way I could see staying put here, it's a very big publisher in women's and gender studies, sociology and media criticism, and I'd be given a wide berth to do more than simply run the financial organization.

2008 is very much up in the air at this point.
