Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

I just checked myself out on Wikipedia, where it turns out I have a huge list to choose from. I could be several flavours of US or UK politician, a footballer, a cricketer, a bowls player or an ice-hockey player, a Welsh punk writer or a British horror writer (neither of them are me), a supercentenerian, a wrestler, a minister of religion (no surprise), an archeologist, an actor, a bishop, a murderer, a pirate, and, would you believe, an astrologer.

But the Jethro Tull keyboardist, real name John Evans, took the stage name John Evan. Strangely the Wikipedia entry doesn't mention a gender change. They say "he" runs a law firm... While the bio on the Jethro Tull site says "he" runs a building construction company.

... the fitness/conditioning standards of modern footballers is a bit extreme. Nothing like the glory days of George Best.

I've been accused of being a Marxist, yet while Harpo's my favourite, it's Groucho I'm always quoting. Odd, that.

It was David Palmer -> Dee Palmer in 2004 I believe (in case have not already found it.)

Ah well, it was fun while it lasted. JT weren't really a band I paid a lot of attention to, so one keyboard player was much like another.
