Having now read all comments on Le Monde article, the main negatives are unsurprisingly based on ... unemployment:

  • getting a job in France is strictly "impossible" (but you don't know that you're a polytechnician working in Finance)
  • in the UK/US "immediate" plenty around for everyone, look at the unemployment number!

Depth of indoctrination...
