Ha, no this was caused by my early scanning "technique"! I couldn't find the negative so I just used this old scan I had on a CD.  I thought it looked kind of green, but I'm a "little" deficient in red/green color perception, so I just shrugged it off.  I usually ask my wife for color help when something is critical, otherwise I often make mistakes like this.

Here is another image from the same canyon that I posted on an earlier blog.  I think it represents more accurate colors.
