Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Hello everybody,

I emailed Rue89, a french news website that was started by ex-Liberation Journalists. They're getting bigger and somewhat represent the new French journalism: less preoccupied by relationships with politicians, and genuinely interested by blogging. Their motto is 'three voices for information: journalists, experts, bloggers'. They are interested in frontpaging a story about the genesis of the Stop Blair petition, with more of an emphasis on the collaborative aspects. It may be start of in depth coverage in the french media.

I'm no that good a writer myself, for one. the other thing is that it may be interesting to write the story oursleves, as a group. Although rue89 is in French, it's probably a good idea to write in english -- so that it's reusable elsewhere - and then translate to French.

So, anyone in?

Rien n'est gratuit en ce bas monde. Tout s'expie, le bien comme le mal, se paie tot ou tard. Le bien c'est beaucoup plus cher, forcement. Celine
