Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
i've managed to avoid melting whilst in the market this morning. but I look conspicuously white compared to everybody else down here. I am terrified of sunburn.

I now have a pink parasol. Catching up on the world at the moment.

Well, summer finally arrived - it's 33°C here. Am not going to complain, though I must say I am not adjusted to the heat yet.

Wow, a little early for that kind of heat, isn't it?

Well, June can be very hot, we used to have 'Hitzeferien' (heatvacation) in school when the temperatur went above 30°C by 10am. As July and part of August are school holidays, it must have been in June - we kids of course loved it, as we could spend the day at the community swimming pool. :-)
