Mostly a press review, aided by some history of following the past elections and the aftermath of the Lisbon Referendum in Ireland. The issues have been left a bit on the side, as have most of the parties.

Myself, I am mostly watching this as another object lesson of elections for the left. Faymann appears to be a smart political operator. I don't agree with some of his positions. But that is not what I'm looking at right now.

Austria contains some lessons on how (not to) deal with the far-right, perhaps there will be more on that from me.
