Old cohort Mike Roselle has been leading the fight against mountaintop removal in West Virginia.  Friday had "victory" in court against Massey Energy.  from mike on my facebook wall:

"Mike Roselle The West Virginia media turned out in force for our trial Friday, but few outlets actually filed a story. We've come to expect this, and the word has nevertheless gotten out about our stunning victory against Massey's lawyers. We remain unrestrained, unbowed, unrepentant and we will continue our struggle against mountain top removal."

Those already arrested are barred from any interference with Massy's mining operations, and are being held in contempt of court for violating the temporary restraining order (TRO).  Not content with that, however, the TRO goes one further, limiting anyone who has seen or heard of the order from protesting as well.  (That's right: as of reading that last sentence, I think you, dear reader, are legally barred from action against Massy.)
