I have heard US National Public Radio programs describing the ongoing melting of the glaciers in that region.  Have you encountered anyone who is aware and concerned with this?  Loss of the glaciers will have a massive impact on south Asia.

no, i did not meet anyone in this problem. climate is changing, this year was exceptionally warm and there was no snow. it means that water flow was very slim hampering work of few hydro power plants. that's why such grim situation with electricity in nepal right now. glaciers are melting in some areas, even endangering livelihood of many people downstream but in most areas temperatures are still comfortably cold.
