Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

I think it's too late, but I'd like to advertise nevertheless:

On friday, a friend of mine is play acting "L'enseigneur" in le Trianon theatre in Paris (80 Boulevard Rochechouart 75018, Metro line 2) at 19h00, cost 18-25€.

It needs to be able to understand french, but it's not as difficult as classical plays. It's a belgian play about a french literature teacher who is sentenced by its judges to go around explaining her story.

Her story, as a teacher is obviously quite tragical, and describes the difficulties arising in teaching in contemporary belgium (and France): the job loss of glamour, the lack of interest for literature , the taste for quick easy money and the way students will avoid efforts...

So, if anyone would feel interested, I recommend it (I've already seen it twice, it was in Avignon theatre festival two years ago and is quite good).
