Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
Two come to mind right away, and there are probably others as well.  

American Jody Williams won in 1997 for organizing, mostly with that new contraption called the Internet, the international agreement to ban landmines over and above the objections of her own government.

And Guatemalan Rigobertu Menchu won in 1992 for her lifetime of work campaigning for human rights against the US-backed governments of Guatemala.
