The Great Swedish Myth was that the general level of prosperity and economic hegemony for Sweden that followed WWII was the 20th C counterpart of the divine right of kings. It was granted unto us by virtue of our moral superiority and it would never go away. It is a myth that is now in its violent death struggle.  

Peak oil is not an energy crisis. It is a liquid fuel crisis.
