the landlord of the Greencoat boy in Westminster obviously felt that he had a right to be a homophobic a-hole and yesterday refused to serve a group of LGBT people who'd pre-booked a room in his pub. Unfortunately, the group he picked on were the LGBTLabour group, the very people who advised on the legislation that makes such behaviour illegal.

So the very next thing that's happening is that, apart from the police being called to report the crime, but this is now a huge twitter and blogstorm that several senior politicians have already joined.

This could be fun.

ah, it seems that the owning pub group have issued an apology and are launching an investigation.

however, they are disputing the version of events and it looks as though it's gonna descend into a "he said she said" dispute.
