PARIS (Reuters) - La candidate Europe Ecologie, Anny Poursinoff, a été élue dimanche au second tour de l'élection législative partielle dans la 10e circonscription des Yvelines, battant le candidat UMP Jean-Frédéric Poisson.

La candidate écologiste a obtenu 51,72% des suffrages exprimés (15.198 voix) contre 48,28% pour le candidat de l'UMP (14.104 voix).

So more than 1000 votes in favor of Anny Poursinoff, a registered nurse who, from now on, will be our MP at the French National Assembly, the fourth Green MP, along with Yves Cochet, Noël Mamère and Francois de Rugy.

Although the UMP majority is safe, this is a slap in the face for the Sarkozy system, undermined by the ongoing financial scandals.
