Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Two thousand and eight, a fairytale

Caroline Amoros, performance artist (Princesses-Peluches) and Raphael Helle, photographer (agency Signatures), have been working together for several years. This collaboration explores the boundaries between reality and fiction, a fictional character revealing elements of reality.
In late 2008, the duo continues to work on U.S. soil. The device is simple: the character actress dons her blonde wig, becoming Kristin, nostalgic dreamer of the left, who goes to the United States to live in the wake of the presidential candidates, an election for the world; and photojournalist, Raphael Helle, follows her as if she were a real person.
The photographic work done during the two weeks preceding the election on November 4, is then broadcast in real time on the blog http://caroline-amoros.blog.lemonde.fr/ and projected on a screen in a marquee at La Vilette in Paris.

I was their political advisor. "How can I meed Obama?" I thought about this, and came up with : "Fly to Chicago. Hire a car. Get press accreditation so you'll know where he's going to be the following day, and drive drive drive, Ohio, Indiana, that's where he's going to be."

Seemed to work OK.
