Minor Nitpick: the key is net MWh produced divided by total investment cost. As things are right now, the way to optimise that is to get blades as big as possible for a given nameplate capacity (and still withstanding the site specific climatic condions). I don't know where mean wind speed for the scottish projects are, but I assume somewhere in the region of the German North Sea sites?
