thanks for this, those figures about structural deficit were unknown to me and were very revealing.

As for energy, none of our polticians seem to be able to wrap their heads around the fact that we're never going back to cheap liquid fuel and the free market will not provide; government has to step in and they have to lead. The very thing they have been avoiding for 4 decades.
