Wind- und Solaranlagen produzieren erstmals Strom mit über 30.000 MW Leistung - IWRWind and solar power plants produce electricity for the first time with a power above 30,000 MW - IWR
Der Bedarf konventioneller Kraftwerke (Atom-, Kohle-, Gaskraftwerke) wurde dabei auf Nachtniveau (ca. 40.000 MW) gedrückt.Münster - Today, wind and solar power plants in Germany have produced green electricity with a power of more than 30,000 megawatts (MW) for the first time. Today (09/14/2012) at the time of high demand for electricity between 13h and 14h, wind and solar power plants fed electricity into the federal German electricity grid with a total power of around 31,500 MW. That is a new record in Germany. The previous record dated 09/06/2012 (about 29,750 MW) was surpassed by about 1,750 MW. According to the data of the Electricity Exchange in Leipzig, the share of wind and solar in the total power plant power reached a top mark of 45 percent (about 69,400 MW between 13:00 and 14:00). Demand for conventional power (nuclear, coal, gas-fired plants) was throttled to night level (about 40,000 MW).

Sorry for the messed up link, here is the correct one. The charts are a Flash graphic right on the linked page, there are tabs to choose Germany (DE), Austria (AT) or both taken together (DE/AT).
