The rest of the report is well worth a read, also on the aspects of adaptation. On the climate extremes covered in my recent diary, the report offers indeed further specifics for the European region, the conclusions on detection and attribution to climate change are on the whole identical with those of the IPCC - which is not surprising as the scientific ground is identical.
