Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
Now you make me wish I had taken photos from a my plane window.  On the return leg of a recent trip to India, we overflew the area and I had an incredible birds-eye view of the entire off shore area. It was a clear sunny day (in fact too sunny, as the stewardesses had us close the window shades to keep the sun out - that is why I was unable to photograph the offshore wind farm).

yes it is one of the pleasures of flying n that general area to try to spot the offshore wind farms... I have a few pictures, but those taken from an iphone don't look like much - more like proof that you actually saw these things...

Depending on prevailing winds you can have excellent view of the Dutch wind farms when landing in Amsterdam as they are quite close by.
