National Bank of Ukraine showers Crimea with dosh
National Bank has provided support to the banking sector of the Crimea, sending UAH 400 million for refinancing the banks operating on the peninsula, announced Prime Minister Yatsenyuk opening the Cabinet meeting.

"Yesterday, together with the National Bank and the State Treasury, we renewed supply of financial resources to the Crimea. Using the reserve channels we managed to resume both banking and payments through the State Treasury," he said.

The Prime Minister stressed that Kiev is favours only peaceful and political means for resolvinig the Crimea crisis, provoked by "inappropriate Russian presence on the territory of autonomy."
