Death Sentence for Arizona Senator McCain?

Personally I wish everyone well and the best health care medical specialists can provide. The government should we willing to extend health care to all as a basic human right. Corporatism and Politics often play an evil role in welfare of all the nation's citizens. From a political view, I hope the senator retires sooner than later.

US Senator John McCain diagnosed with brain cancer | DW |

Arizona senator and former presidential candidate John McCain was reviewing treatment options after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, his office said. President Trump wished the 80-year-old a speedy recovery.

Daughter praises McCain's courage

The latest cancer diagnosis comes after doctors removed several malignant melanomas on McCain's skin in the 1990s and 2000s, including an invasive melanoma in 2000.

McCain's daughter Meghan McCain issued a statement after the diagnosis was made public, saying that her father remained "confident and calm."

Actually, Trump didn't just wish him a speedy recovery. He actually said
"We hope John McCain gets better very soon because we miss him," Trump said at a White House event billed as a start to its "Made in America" week. "He's a crusty voice in Washington. Plus we need his vote. And he'll be back. And he will be back sooner than somebody else would be back. He'll be back soon. But we need that vote. And we need a number of votes. Because we need to repeal Obamacare."
Always about himself. Notice the assumption that after getting all that expensive state-funded health care, he's still certain that McCain will vote to deny it to lots of other Americans.

o, don't be so harsh. Why only this past Monday, NPR reported.

Sen. McCain's Recovery From Blood Clot Surgery Threatens GOP Health Care Vote

DAVIS: Audie, President Trump also spoke about John McCain today. He described him appreciatively as being one of D.C.'s crusty voices, and he said he was hoping to get him back in Washington soon in particular because he needs his vote. Now, what we know about McCain according to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix - as you said, he's recovering back at home. And the next step is they're waiting on the tests of a pathology report. And once they have that, they'll know if any additional care is necessary and if he could potentially be kept away from Washington for some time.

Here it is Thursday, and the press can't back peddle fast enough.

I am reminded how many months the US public waited for Gabby Giffords (superhero) to resume her seat in the odious congress.

i'm not being harsh. If I wanted to be harsh, I would have quoted Trump saying that only losers get cancer....

Apparently he has glioblastoma.
The most common length of survival following diagnosis is 12 to 15 months, with fewer than 3% to 5% of people surviving longer than five years. Without treatment survival is typically 3 months.

Increasing age (> 60 years of age) carries a worse prognostic risk.
