Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

So yeah. Jane Mayer is a tool. C'mon. Christopher Steele's biography of a patriot? Also published by The New Yorker. (I've mentioned that before.) On the other hand, the NYT published its version of Ramirez's allegations about Kavanaugh's deviance,"misconduct" in the parlance of university adminstrators everywhere: In a Culture of Privilege and Alcohol at Yale, Her World Converged With Kavanaugh's, 25 Sep. This one I read.

This information prompted me to "share" some of my experience to elaborate the breadth of depravity that someone from a very similar socio-economic background might encounter. It is never too late to dispel "virtual integration" theories, for example, comity in freshman dorms, especially between roommates.

More interesting to me is Dr. Bernofsky's civic duty to promote judicial reform. Yeah, I went to the home page of "Tulane Link," unequaljustice.com. (Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, one of the United States best known for a pseudo-religious festival and internecine graft and miscegenation.) I imagine, Frank, for example, can best relate to abstract purposes of "judicial reform." Democracy on the march!

Two items stand out in Dr. Bernofsky's home page.

  1. Bernofsky's petition to impeach Helen "Ginger" Berrigan;"Impeachable Offenses of U.S. District Court Judge Helen "Ginger" Berrigan"; and
  2. a bill, S.2195, introduced by Mr Grassely to create an office of Inspector General in the judiciary branch. It has no, zero, co-sponsors.

That is news. In fact it never had occurred to me that there is no OIG in judiciary agencies. What a phenomenal "oversight" by the ancestors of this great nation. Why didn't they establish one for each breach? huh. Could it be that they couldn't foresee that self-regulation would cultivate "debt traps" in offices of trust? Corruption.

God only knows, evidently.

Diversity is the key to economic and political evolution.
