Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
Has there been any revelations as to when they started the support for the rebels?

Considering that there are cables showing US support (mostly cash and technical) up to 2010, and US main stream media reporting support (including weapons) from 2012, it would hardly be a surprise if support never ended but was continuous through 2011. Having evidence of such support would be useful when arguing with people who think the West started supporting a spontaneous uprising after the fact.
