One thing that comes to mind is that a lot of Greek debt was issued under UK law, because that is what you do to your colonies. This might have interesting implications for the next round.

"English law" doctrines -- yes, well, that's losing reserve currency status in gaining issuers' and investors' confidence in Tory "transparent and strong legal system". The UK risked little cash in so-called troika "bailouts" and the PSI went ahead despite "English law". Taken with Paul Singer's legal strategy (US, UK) to extort obscene profit from Argentina's restructured debt, the City will find little appetite for its underwriting in world markets going forward. Besides EU windows it has to compete with you-know-who.
