Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

I interpret the current mainstream media writings about US made bombs hitting Yemen as damage minimization. Blogs and such has been pointing out how the msm ignores Yemen and how the US is involved at every level of the war. By pointing at the horrors the msm places themselves in front of their critics, and by focusing on the bomb manufacturing they obscure the rest. And once the genocide becomes undeniable, they can blame primarily Saudi Arabia - or better yet, the Yemenis - and secondarily the bomb makers who in turn can do some whitewashing and promising to only sell bombs to good guys in the future.

But maybe I am just cynical, other explanations are possible. Perhaps some campaign to call out the weapons manufacturers has succeeded, in which case I applaud the campaigners.

and call it a parade.

But that just shifts the question slightly. Why have blogs and alternative sites broken through now? Is there some new strategy?
Or is it just the post-orb escalation? The food blockade certainly has ramped up since then. But the focus is on the bombing. Better TV of course, but still.

Don't forget Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh, US mercenaries ... ehh mercenaries hired by the former XE and Erik Prince ... US Generals retired have been hired in the past by the Sheikh to set up their military strike forces  ... thinking 'renegade' Gen. McChrystal.

The Saudi Kingdom is pursuing and Islamic Army, a coalition of nations. Trump seems to give support when he speaks of an Arab 'NATO'.

The KSA and the UAE are investing their wealth to buy leaders of Islamic nations: see Lebanon, Malaysia and Pakistan as most recent examples.
