Wow, lending money to relatively poorer countries, and using that debt as a leverage to force a variety of economic and policy concessions? China has really caught on to something here! It's sort of amazing that nobody in Europe or the USA ever thought of this, it would have made that whole imperialism thing so much easier!

hmm, this an is interesting note considering the value and volume of USA goods entering IE (air)ports, then leaving UK by sea and um intermodal transport.
