Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
Despite Trump administration tariff antics  last week --"sectoral sanctions" and "essential security interests"-- over South Korean-DPRK's plan to sign a bi-lateral peace treaty, "long-range missiles were nowhere to be seen."

DPRK's founding anniversary parade highlights economic development

An array of industrial workers wearing uniforms and helmets were among the participants. A slogan of "All our might to build the economy" and working scenes of agriculture, fisheries and metallurgy were among the floats.
As a sign of improving ties between Pyongyang and Seoul, the parade also featured a float under the theme of national reunification. The float was decorated with a board showing the Panmunjom Declaration, the June 15th North-South Joint Declaration and the Oct. 4 Joint Declaration.
brilliant if unexpected positioning, really, in the annals of martyrs for peace. After all, US will move forward with plans to literally crush Korean society. Punters somewhere are already placing bets on number of punitive sanction and tariff rounds forthcoming ... before some asshat in the odious endorses GI "safety checks" criss-crossing the penninsula.

Diversity is the key to economic and political evolution.
