Mexico braces for new caravan of Central American migrants
"We have information that a new caravan is forming in Honduras, that they're calling `the mother of all caravans,' and they are thinking it could have more than 20,000 people," [MX Interior Secretary Olga] Sanchez Cordero said Wednesday. But a WhatsApp [?!] group calling for people to gather Saturday in El Salvador to set off for Guatemala only has about 206 members.

Activist Irineo Mujica, who has accompanied several caravans in Mexico, said reports about "the mother of all caravans" were false, claiming "this is information that (U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen) Nielsen is using to create fear."

Now, that is an intriguing theory: MX and US gov COLLUDING to deny human "rights" to war (conflict, "intercommunal conflict") refugees in both! territories.
"We are going to do everything we can to help. We don't in any way want a confrontation with the U.S. government," he said. "It is legitimate that they are displeased and they voice these concerns."

Sanchez Cordero has pledged to form a police line of "containment" around Mexico's narrow Tehuantepec Isthmus to stop migrants from continuing north to the U.S. border. The containment belt would consist of federal police and immigration agents, but such highway blockades and checkpoints have not stopped large and determined groups of migrants in the past.

Soooo *.mx "pays for the wall" like some NATO ahh peripheral states pay for "containment."

Border Patrol orders quick releases of families
The number of migrant families and children entering the U.S. from Mexico is so high that Border Patrol is immediately releasing them instead of transferring them to the agency responsible for their release, forcing local governments to help coordinate their housing, meals and travel.
No "fear" of accommodation, integration, or crime (as in the EU)
"Focusing on the humanitarian effort is the most important focus for the city, [Yuma Mayor Douglas] Nicholls.

The Yuma Sector has over the last two years seen an extraordinary spike in the number of immigrant families who turn themselves in. Yuma Deputy Chief Patrol Agent Carl E. Landrum said Thursday that agents have arrested 30,000 people in the relatively small sector since October 1.

One may expect UNPRECEDENTED congressional delegate re-allocations and numbers of district re-draws come Jan '21! 435 patronage stretched thin.

Temer released after 4 days: why did it happen? | Brasil Wire

Michel Temer was released from prison after serving only 4 days behind bars, after material evidence implicated him in hundreds of millions of dollars of personal enrichment and paying millions of dollars in bribes to Congressmen to impeach Dilma Rousseff. When he was first arrested, some foreign journalists used this opportunity to tweet out that the joint US Department of Justice/Brazilian Public Prosecutors Office Lava Jato investigation is not the political witch hunt the AFL-CIO and leading intellectuals have been saying it is, but that it is truly an impartial investigation. Temer's release four days later has been met with their utter silence, and now the motives for the episode are coming out.
