Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.
In their haste to "interpret" Trump's nefarious settlement proposal for indigent, jobless, infirm, and estranged "asylum" seeking migrant families in US "sanctuary" cities LIKE DEMOCRATIC PARTY 'STRONGHOLD' San Francisco, the youngsters have fallen to excoriate "bussing", which every segregation-blind American intuits to be a violation of the rights and privileges of freedom-loving Americans: "Not in My Backyard".

Like, yanno, removing blacks poor people of color from ghettos to affluent districts of equal opportunity is sort of like slavery, but separate.

White House: We're not considering busing migrants to "sanctuary cities." Trump: Yes, we are!

According to the [Washington] Post, the original proposal was to bus Central American asylum seekers from the "caravan" to "sanctuary cities" instead of releasing them after processing at the border. But it's not totally clear that Trump isn't also talking about immigrants arrested within the US and currently held in immigration detention -- since he often fails to understand distinctions [!] between the two.
< wipes tears > The Trump administration floated a plan to bus migrants to sanctuary cities
The Trump administration twice discussed a plan to bus migrants to sanctuary cities, as a way of getting revenge [?] on Democrats. ... The idea, according to emails seen by the Washington Post and confirmed by the New York Times, was to bus those migrants -- many of them likely asylum-seeking women and children from conflict-ridden countries like Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador -- away from the border to unprepared [!], so-called "sanctuary cities," like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's district of San Francisco.
< wipes tears > Trump sanctuary city idea could help migrants stay in US
To [Wilson Romero], the biggest problem with being in the Bay Area is the high cost of living. The former textile factory [!] worker relies on his mother's income from waitressing for food and clothing, and he's started thinking about asking legal permission to move to North Carolina [!], where an uncle resides and says it's cheaper to live and work.
The irony. NC industry collapse
The transportation of immigrants [!] who are arrested at the border to large and faraway cities [like Philadelphia] would be burdensome and costly at a time when Immigration and Customs Enforcement is already stretched thin, having released over 125,000 immigrants into the country pending their immigration court since Dec. 21. They are currently being released mainly in border states.

Flights chartered by ICE cost about $7,785 per flight hour, according to the agency, and require multiple staffers, including an in-flight medical professional. The agency also uses commercial flights. Doing longer transports would increase liability for the agency, especially considering that many of the immigrants in its care are families with young children.

Democratic "gangs" vs. Orangemen "nativists"

Diversity is the key to economic and political evolution.
