Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

The problem isn't the local council elections, it's the European Parliament elections.

The Brexiters will be out in force for those, and the nominal Remain parties - including TINGE - are all more interested in keeping the Labour vote down than uniting against Farage.

There's an opportunity to kill Brexit by keeping the Farage Vanity Party down. But I fear that's not going to happen.

Instead I'm concerned that we won't just see big wins for the Brexiters, but a shift towards kooky nationalist far-right parties the European Parliament as a whole.
