Democrats up requirements for 2nd round of primary debates
The DNC's outline for its September debate -- the third of at least a dozen promised matchups during the 2020 nominating fight -- decrees that candidates can participate only by reaching 2% in four approved polls released between June 28 and Aug. 28 while also collecting contributions from a minimum of 130,000 unique donors before Aug. 28. That donor list must include a minimum of 400 individuals in at least 20 states. The qualifications would remain the same for an October debate, though the party hasn't set the deadline for measuring fundraising and polling.

Plaintiffs assert several fraud-type claims. But they do not allege they ever heard or acted upon the DNC's claims of neutrality. Plaintiffs also assert a tort claim on behalf of all registered Democrats, even though the harm they allege impacted all Democratic-primary-eligible voters----and under their theory, the entire body politic----the same way.
The state moved its primary to the Super Tuesday round of voting on March 3, joining at least 13 other states after votes in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina. "I'm not anticipating a very large pushback," [CO-6 Rep. Jason] Crow said in an interview. "There's already similar language that we've synced up with on the Senate side." [...] On Wednesday, [WA-10] Rep. Denny Heck said he would introduce legislation to establish a so-called climate security intelligence center at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence [DNI]. And after the Pentagon produced a climate report in January and only studied 79 of its hundreds of military bases, House Democrats directed the department to update its work.
As a party, Democrats didn't expressly state opposition to the Hyde Amendment until 2016. The Democratic platform that year also introduced a specific mention of Planned Parenthood, as it was adopted amid a rash of Republican-run state legislatures trying to strip Medicaid financing for the women's health giant whose services include abortion and abortion referrals.
