I watched a couple of Godwin arguments --illustrated with "think of the children" anecdotes-- spiral out of @AndyGrewal control last night.

I'm not a trifle surprised that Trmp's latest, self serving grasp of international human rights "norms" earned no credit for flash of sanity (EU edition).

OTOH, I am alarmed to find this declaration by someone claiming accreditation by US authorities to teach others.

Never before have we had a President who struggled with a major decision, or one who made the final call at the last minute. Unclear how much longer we can go on like this.

I think the Godwin's law question has been conclusively settled:

Chris, I think they're concentration camps. Keep in mind that one of their functions by design is to punish those individuals and families who are detained. So even the "charged" term is appropriate.
