Clinton says U.S. could "totally obliterate" Iran | Reuters 2008 |

Clinton said the question of Iran merited an hypothetical discussion because a nuclear Tehran would require straightforward Cold War-style deterrence. "It's a question not of what might be on or off the table," she said.

Meanwhile, Obama said he would respond 'forcefully and swiftly' to an Iranian attack against Israel or any U.S. ally, whether conventional or nuclear.

The sound is defiant, heroic and ridiculous, like hearing "Ode to Joy" sung by a thousand synthetic, smart-speaker voices and backed by an orchestra of slide whistles. ...

Creating CHAOS

Selling state-of-the-art weapons to authoritarian regimes which have played a major role in Middle East unrest and regime change with mercenary armies. See the build-up of Abu Dhabi, KSA and Qatar.

At this moment 3000 Sudanese (funded by Saudis of 9/11 infamy) and some 3000 Syrians (jihadists armed and transported by Turkey) are fighting on different sides in Libya. Remember Hillary and Musmmar in 2011 ... and Brown/Cameron and Sarkozy?

Wars of choice are ugly and very stupid. The Shia/Sunni divide and the Muslim Brotherhood. More blowback and terror across an unruly world as Planet Earth and Human rights are completely forgotten. The revenge of Nature cannot be stopped, the critical moment has passed.

These are noble sentiments that have the disadvantage of being completely wrong. American forces have acted to secure commercial interests since Thomas Jefferson decided to fight the "Barbary pirates." ...

To some extent we may be looking at reverse causation, with troubled economies forced into harsh austerity while those doing well can keep expanding spending. ... We accept a system with considerable inequality because systems without any inequality profit or arbitrage don't work."
