Goebbels and propaganda is a connotation in a period of dark history. Made use of modern technological advances as radio to broadcast to the masses. Dark companion of Der Führer.

Russian theorist of Marxism Georgy Plekhanov and later elaborated upon by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in a pamphlet What Is to Be Done? (1902), in which he defined "propaganda" as the reasoned use of historical and scientific arguments to indoctrinate the educated and enlightened (the attentive and informed publics, in the language of today's social sciences); he defined "agitation" as the use of slogans, parables, and half-truths to exploit the grievances of the uneducated and the unreasonable.

Now is it. ppl been telecommunicating for millennia. You've heard about them cuniform tablets at least, haven't you?

alrighty then. I don't suppose the "propagandist" Goebbels genii sprung from Zeus's forehead or BERNAYS's 79 pp monograph, do you? I don't suppose ppls of Europe had never before uttered a word to one another, attended a sermon, hanging, or visitation of teh king.

So. Why do I have difficulty identifying any other personnage in the annals of European history who performed identical or even similar duties to those entrusted to the fiend Goebbels by his liege and state?
