In the last 24 hours, two samples of US "journalism" stand out

Exclusive: U.S. axed CDC expert job in China months before virus outbreak
Laden with real and imagined details, this reporting re-enforces US gov supposition that China gov hid a "cluster" of 27 deaths of unknown etiology from ... one to five [?] US gov employees who were guests, observers "training," the gov of China in CDC practical epidemiology.

and a simple headline question "framing," as the youngsters say, "false narrative" or rational discourse.

The body of the report doesn't competently answer the question posed; and the hypothetical opportunities for US gov epidemic mediation, SARS (suspected U.S. SARS cases was 115/8,000+ worlwide) and Ebola (confirmed U.S. cases was 11/11K+ worldwide, which did not in fact occur.

While H1N1 a/k/a "Bird Flu"" mediation was a CDC disaster in the USA second only to HIV/AIDS.
