Following the same policy ... insufficient testing ... let the virus spread for herd immunity ... don't count the deaths as not all persons die in the hospital. Eighty per cent die in nursing homes or at home. Of course, in the weekly stats will alert by significant discrepancies: in week 12, March 16 thru 22, there are 440 more deaths than can be explained by seasonal average and the trending curve. This is 157% underreporting of the real numbers ... worse to come. The Dutch government organization RIVM has attributed fewer deaths to the coronavirus outbreak that will show in the official WHO statistics.
CBS suspects higher corona death than previously reported | Dagblad v/h Noorden - ANP | The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) detects 440 more deaths than average in the third week of March. The researchers think that this difference can largely be explained by the coronavirus outbreak. They report a deviation from the mortality rates of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), which had 280 deaths from the coronavirus in that week. Statistics Netherlands suspects that there is a difference because not everyone who dies from the coronavirus is registered in this way. According to the CBS, 3,575 people died in week 12, which is considerably higher than the average death rate of 3,135 in the previous weeks.

UPDATE :: UPDATE :: UPDATE
This afternoon the numbers of the last week of March were quite shocking ...
○ CBS: 1200 number of deaths missed in the last week of March

Really shameful ... wilful neglect with a rightwing agenda! Planned eugenics or simple human sacrifice.

Dutch official corona death toll hits 1,487, but real total is higher | Dutch News | The number of patients admitted to hospital with coronavirus has risen by 502 to 6,286 in the latest update from the public health institute RIVM. In total, 148 more people have died, taking the death toll to 1,487, while 15,723 people have tested positive for the virus, a rise of over 1,000 on Thursday. Figures published by the national statistics office CBS on Friday indicate that coronavirus is having a significant impact on the wider weekly death figures which the two agencies have compiled since the 2009 flu epidemic. Figures relating to the period 19-25 March indicate that between 870 and 1181 more people died than would have been expected, the RIVM said. At this time of year, some 2,700 to 3,000 people die every week.

U.S. Ambassador lashes out at China over coronavirus transparency | NL Times | American ambassador to the Netherlands Pete Hoekstra lashed out at China and the information it provided about the coronavirus in an interview with Dutch newspaper AD. According to Hoekstra, China did not give the world reliable data about Covid-19 and is still not being transparent about the actual number of coronavirus infections and deaths in the country. "The world could have responded to this much more efficiently if China had been more transparent. Even now we don't see the transparency we would like to see. When we see how the disease develops in Europe and in the US, the trend is somewhat different from what we hear from China," Hoekstra said to the newspaper.

Because of the "herd" policy wonkers in The Hague, the numbers are highly deflated.
My own best estimate for today: Cases: 100k Deaths: 3k Deaths/1M pop.: 144
Numbers similar to New York at this date.
The UK and more so the US will soar above the poor statistics of the Netherlands. UK on target for 20k and the US for 100k deaths. Final numbers above these will conclude horrible performance.
