For Netanyahu it was pay-back time to the Democratic Party for the Iranian Nuclear deal, but for Barack Obama specifically. The Obama administration tampered, albeit indirectly, with the Israeli GE of 2015 through the V15-fund.

Most damage to the Democratic campaign of 2016 was done by joint effort of Zuckerberg's Facebook and Cambridge Analytica (parent SCL Group in the UK). The covert actions by Robert Mercer and Paul Singer were quite effective.

Israeli allies in this effort to get any Republican candidate elected were Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, the anti-Iran coalition. See role played by Erik Prince [DeVos link] and most likely jointly Israeli/Saudi intelligence from the government or in privatized corporations. The quid-pro-quo in favor of these actors was swift and lasting: thanking Trump, Kushner and Friedman.

Just as Hillary would have, so has Joe Biden already bowed to the interests of the Jewish State of Israel. You were right.

The members are a globally diverse group with lawyers, journalists, human rights advocates and other academics. Between them, they are said to have expertise in areas such as digital rights, religious freedom, conflicts between rights, content moderation, internet censorship and civil rights.
Notable members include Alan Rusbridger, former editor in chief of The Guardian newspaper, and Andras Sajo, a former judge and VP of the European Court of Human Rights.
Helle Thorning-Schmidt, a former Prime Minister of Denmark, is one of the board's four co-chairs. "Up until now some of the most difficult decisions about content have been made by Facebook and you could say Mark Zuckerberg," she said on a call with the press Wednesday. "Facebook has decided to change that."
