Seems like the UK has found a sound reason to keep Huawei out of their 5G infrastructure, namely, that the US wants it.

The only people who care about 5G are the mobile phone companies who want to force people to ditch their perfectly adequate old mobiles for new ones.

Well, that plus people like me who are struggling to keep a decade-old iPhone working until the new 5G models come out, and the IoT companies who are depending on 5G for their systems to work...

Plus anybody who has had it up to here with the cable Internet providers...
