Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Actually I found it refreshing, because it meant we could all stop pretending that the so-called anti-Semitism was anything other than Zionist bullying and interference in British politics.

The issue went from being a bit questionable to a clear-as-day politically motivated elimination of someone whose left-leaning views are ideologically unacceptable to the far-right British and Zionist establishments - presumably with the assent of the far-right in the US, and (for all anyone knows) Saudi Arabia and Russian too, to the extent that they care.

Of course Starmer will be better than Johnson - just as Biden will be better than Trump.

But the right is still the right, and that means genuine social democracy - never mind anything to the left of that - remains unpossible in the UK and US.

Yea, but when is the revolution going to come when objective facts have been declared impermissible? What what sort of revolution could it be when the right is allowed manufacture its own alternative facts and they are endorsed by the only possible progressive mass movement?
