The issue went from being a bit questionable to a clear-as-day politically motivated elimination of someone whose left-leaning views are ideologically unacceptable to the far-right British and Zionist establishments - presumably with the assent of the far-right in the US, and (for all anyone knows) Saudi Arabia and Russian too, to the extent that they care.
Of course Starmer will be better than Johnson - just as Biden will be better than Trump.
But the right is still the right, and that means genuine social democracy - never mind anything to the left of that - remains unpossible in the UK and US.
