Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

NY Times is very far to the left, and has been for years.  I know this agrees with your viewpoint, "Don't Let The Door Hit You On The Way Out ...".  But the US is a centrist country.  As a result, NYT has far less influence on the average American voter that in the past.
Right now it's a toss up as to who will win.  There is a lot to play out over the next three+ months.  But it will be a very close election, imho.  And I expect some shocker events and big surprises.

Not to mention what happens if the current president doesn't like the results.

Are you saying NYT attacked Bernie Sanders from the left? Or pushed the Clintonian Russiagate from the left?

I can't claim to know much of US far left, but being war mongering, intelligence-community collaborating, centrist propaganda outlet doesn't really seem to fit the description.

The Atlantic and NY Times' Normalization of the Alt-Right | Tikun Olam - April 2018 |

Both Jeffrey Goldberg, elevated a little over a year ago to managing editor of The Atlantic, and his predecessor and mentor, James Bennet, now the NY Times op-ed page editor, have embarked on a process of normalizing the alt-right, via hiring its devotés to grace their respective pages.

Plenty to see at The New York Times and warmongering by NeoCons and the Iraq War. Will never forget nor forgive.

Judith Miller - Michael R. Gordon - and so on.
