Rutte about Amalia party: Oranges are also people who make mistakes

Rutte denied that the Oranges feel elevated above the people by not adhering to the rules. It is not the first time that the king's family has violated the corona regulations. For example, they went on holiday to Greece last year, while the advice was not to travel. The family canceled the trip under pressure from the negative publicity.

Yet, according to Rutte, there is no pattern: "Those are way too heavy words."

The Royal Family did not "cancel the trip" as the family already arrived at their holiday home in Greece. Making it worse, Alex and Maxima stated they would return to the Netherlands.
