Not to diminish the achievement of the security troop at Capitol that day, but a bicameral system elected by a plurality vote is not the democracy I know.

I've always lived under an unicameral parliament elected by proportional system where constitutionality of laws is checked before they even go to vote. It just works. And it feels like democracy.
