Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

Now, here's a plausible "leak." Given that Zelensk* is the latest in a series of wholy owned cut-outs in the NATO's offensive to capture UA, NSA/CIA/FBI nabs the only store of value (HUMINT) in this war thus far deserving "exceptional" protection before UA maniacs destroys it. Medvedchuk's situational awareness of both UA and RU organizational strengths and weaknesses is pretty unique, possibly time-sensitive for near-term US military purposes. I disagree as to Medvedchuk's extrinsic value. To RU his use-value (informant, collaborator) to corporate RU was a strategic "write off" the day UA detained him back in February. To UA he is one prop among many signifying the nationalists' supremacy. And I suppose, Medvedchuk, purportedly presented as a close personal friend of PUTIN and agent of The Great Patriotic War at the polls, understood all along that he's not indispensible in any case.

A group of FBI officers flew from Washington to Ukraine to take Viktor Medvedchuk to the United States, said the ex-deputy of Rada Kiva

According to him, "they want to use the main Ukrainian opposition politician in possible bargaining with Russia." In addition, he may be held as a witness in the investigation of alleged Moscow interference in the electoral process in the United States, Kiva believes.

"Everything is in the best traditions of the Anglo-Saxons, who have long been using terrorist methods around the world," the politician emphasized in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, Kiva commented on the statement of the President of Ukraine, in which he proposed to the Russian side to exchange Medvedchuk for captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, calling Zelensky "a terrorist who traffics in people." In turn, Viktor Medvedchuk's wife, Oksana Marchenko, told reporters that she did not know exactly when her husband was detained. She clarified that "the last few weeks she had no contact with him."
