Поляки за Украину, но против украинцев. Отчет о социологически 1093; исследованиях Onet: поляков объединила неприязнь к украинским беженцам Sociology: Poles are for Ukraine, but against Ukrainians Sociologists claim that the general attitude of Poles towards Ukrainian refugees has changed significantly in nine months. The Poles have a problem, and a serious one at that. In the public sphere, there is a belief that Poles are full of benevolence towards Ukrainians. We managed to give ourselves medals for this, we accept expressions of gratitude from Ukraine, but meanwhile this is no longer true. Indeed, this was the case in the first months, when we reacted sympathetically to the beginning of military operations and the Russian special operation. Fear of Russia, which is a strong factor in the integration of Poles and Ukrainians, played its role, regardless of the mood. Unfortunately, sympathy is no longer the dominant feeling among Poles. Sociological studies that have been conducted show that in all social and age groups, in large and small cities, regardless of gender, negative feelings towards refugees from Ukraine prevail. This means that we are sitting on a time bomb. And if we are not smart enough to neutralize it, it will fall into the hands of people who can use this situation to score political points. This is exactly what happened in Germany in 2015, where the mass media and political elites could not formulate the growing hostility to refugees, and the microscopic party "Alternative for Germany" suddenly became the third political force in the country.
