The Kremlin on Friday rejected U.S. President Joe Biden's conditions that Russian troops fully withdraw from Ukraine before he speak with President Vladimir Putin.

Berlin - 2 Dec.

Putin urged Berlin to "reconsider its approaches in the context of the Ukrainian events," the Kremlin said.

He accused the West of carrying out "destructive" policies in Ukraine, stressing that its political and financial aid "leads to the fact that Kyiv completely rejects the idea of any negotiations."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had ruled out any talks with Russia while Putin is in power.

Zelensky admits he is being nudged to negotiate with Moscow

Paris - 17 Dec.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky admitted in an interview to France's LCI television channel he is being nudged to negotiate with Moscow.

"There are those who are urging me to sit at the negotiating table," he said. "But I don't see anything to discuss."

Moscow - 27 Dec.

Moscow's proposals for settlement in Ukraine are well known to Kyiv and either Ukraine fulfils them for their own good or the Russian army will decide the issue, TASS agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying.

"The point is simple: Fulfil them for your own good. Otherwise, the issue will be decided by the Russian army."
