Objective  observers will recognise that the current Ukrainian crisis stems fundamentally from the US-sponsored and EU-backed coup against the legitimate government of that country in 2014.  This sought to shift a State that is divided between Ukrainian-speakers and Russian-speakers away from Russia's sphere of influence towards NATO, the EU and the so-called "West" - which of course includes Japan. 

Shortly after 9/11 a new role for NATO in global war on terror. Subject of many of my diaries and concern.

Anthony Coughlan of the National Platform has now admitted that there are no grounds for opposition to the Nice Treaty on the basis of fears about neutrality or about alleged "militarisation" of the EU.

Instance where Coughlan was proven wrong ...

At first glance, his arguments aren't mine as he strongly favors ties to GB, even pro Irexit. A different colonial empire that has taken the lead in confrontation of Russia and China ... no resemblance of "neutrality" on global military warfare.
