PM Mark Rutte disbands cabinet after four parties in government coalition disagree over asylum seeker policy | The Guardian | A push by Rutte's conservative VVD party to limit the flow of asylum seekers to the Netherlands split his four-party government coalition, as two junior parties refused to support his proposals. Tensions came to a head this week, when Rutte demanded support for a proposal to limit entrance for children of war refugees who are already in the Netherlands and to make families wait at least two years before they can be united.

Elections Rutte IV -- VVD 34 - D66 24 - CDA 15 - CU 5 for total 78 seats.
Both D66 and CU oppose the harsh asylum policy proposals Rutte tried to push down their throats. D66 is NOT a junior party. Worthless reporting. The whole Rutte act is to please the rightwing extreme groups of xenophobes and Islamophobes. See chaos in refugee camp in Ter Apel and protests by rightwing populist parties. To avoid a vote of no confidence within his own rightwing VVD party, Mark made a promise he cannot keep and opposes universal human rights ...
