Welcome to European Tribune. It's gone a bit quiet around here these days, but it's still going.

VVD wanted to create a two-tier system for asylum seekers, with people under threat of persecution granted more rights than those fleeing war zones. It also said the number of family members who could join refugees in the second category should be capped at 200 per year.
says Politico, confirming a reasonable distinction where none exists for Ruttessake!

The VVD party pulled the rug from under Cabinet Rutte IV for party politics, not for the well being of the Dutch population or country.

The partners in the coalition D66 and CDA both do poorly in the polls and are likely to replace the leading candidate ... both VVD and farmers group BBB are leading ex aequo with a small loss for the VVD and massive gain for new party from a single seat to around 25. Very preliminary, but most parties aren't ready for new elections. There is a distinct swing to more extreme right.

Migrants and asylum seekers is a non-issue amongst many very serious problems 13 years of Rutte failed to resolve. Racism and xenophobia are topics to engage the electorate ... political intelligence way below par.

Migrants entry nearly 400,000 persons, family reunion approx. 10,000 tops. Lies and MSM narrative does the trick ... populism ruins real democracy.
